The ad research your AI agents are missing.
Adlist MCP connects Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and other AI tools to 502 real app ads from 337 apps, broken down beat by beat, so the hooks they write start from what already works.
Available on Pro and Team plans
Write 3 hook ideas for our study app, based on what’s working right now.
I’ll search Adlist for the strongest education-app hooks.
Found the top 3 by views. Here’s what makes each one work:
- Proof before product. The grades page shows up before the app does, so the claim feels earned.
- Borrowed credibility. “The study tiktokers were right” rides on advice viewers have already heard.
- Trending sound. The “Sad Lebron” audio does the emotional work, with no voiceover needed.
- POV in one shot. A single 7-second clip; the caption carries the whole story.
- Social envy. “The girl next to you” turns the app into something you’re missing out on.
- Specific payoff. “3 hours early” and “1 hour” make the benefit concrete.
- Challenge hook. Spinning a wheel to pick a country makes viewers stay to see where it lands.
- Product as the twist. The 18-hour flight becomes the reason to study, and the app is how.
- Feature tour in context. Notes to podcast to quiz, each shown solving the problem on screen.
Three hooks for your study app, one per pattern:
- “POV: you finished the reading before the lecture even started”
- “The study tiktokers were right about turning notes into flashcards”
- “Wherever this wheel lands, I’m studying there for finals”

When to reach for it
Writing scripts
Your agent studies the hooks that already pulled millions of views, then drafts scripts for your app in the same shape.
Briefing creators
Turn a winning ad into a shot-by-shot brief, with the beats, on-screen text and timing a creator can follow.
Researching competitors
Ask what apps in your category are running, which formats repeat, and where the gaps are.
Planning tests
Get a set of hook variations to test, each grounded in a pattern that has worked for a real app.

Frequently asked questions
What is an MCP server?
MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard that lets AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor use outside data and actions. Adlist’s MCP server gives them read access to the ad library and lets them save ads to your account.
Which AI tools work with Adlist?
Claude (web, desktop and Claude Code), ChatGPT, Cursor and any other tool that supports remote MCP servers with OAuth sign-in.
Do I need an API key?
No. Each tool asks you to sign in to Adlist and approve access, like signing in with Google. Personal access tokens are available in Account settings for tools that can’t sign in.
Is it included in my plan?
The connector is included in Pro and Team at no extra cost. It isn’t available on the free plan.
Is it the same library as the website?
Yes. Your AI sees the same ads, breakdowns and stats you see on Adlist, including new ads as soon as they’re published.
Can I disconnect an app?
Yes. Account settings lists every connected app, and Disconnect removes its access right away.
