Talking head app ads: real examples
What talking head app ads look like
Talking-head ads put one person on screen speaking straight to camera, usually framed from the chest up. The words carry the ad, so the script and the first line matter more than the visuals.
In the Adlist library, talking head ads typically run about 52 seconds, and 53% finish their hook within the first three seconds. The hooks they lean on most are testimonial, recommendation and tutorial. They show up most for Education, Lifestyle and Health and Fitness apps.
