Founder story hooks in app ads
What founder story hooks are
Founder-story hooks come from the person who built the app, explaining why they made it. They trade production polish for authenticity and a clear reason the app exists.
In the Adlist library, ads with a founder story hook typically run about 31 seconds, and 61% finish their hook within the first three seconds. They’re most often shot as talking head, UGC and green screen videos. They show up most for Productivity, Health and Fitness and Shopping apps.
