Before / After hooks in app ads
What before / after hooks are
Before-and-after hooks show the change the app made, side by side or as a reveal. The gap between the two is the whole pitch.
In the Adlist library, ads with a before / after hook typically run about 14 seconds, and 84% finish their hook within the first three seconds. They’re most often shot as UGC, photo carousel and screen recording videos. They show up most for Health and Fitness, Lifestyle and Photo and Video apps.
