Demo hooks in app ads
What demo hooks are
Demo hooks start with the app in use, showing exactly what happens when you tap. They’re direct: the viewer learns what the product does before deciding to keep watching.
In the Adlist library, ads with a demo hook typically run about 24 seconds, and 67% finish their hook within the first three seconds. They’re most often shot as UGC, screen recording and talking head videos. They show up most for Health and Fitness, Productivity and Photo and Video apps.
