Showcase hooks in app ads
What showcase hooks are
Showcase hooks open on the app’s best feature or result and let it speak for itself. They work when the product is visual enough to impress in a single frame.
In the Adlist library, ads with a showcase hook typically run about 18 seconds, and 80% finish their hook within the first three seconds. They’re most often shot as UGC, screen recording and photo carousel videos. They show up most for Education, Health and Fitness and Lifestyle apps.
